I’m Chloe Agyin (pronounced A-gin)—a queer, multiracial therapist, community advocate, and grounding presence who brings warmth, compassion, and joy into the healing process. I provide individual therapy for adults (18+) and coordinate / facilitate groups at Inclusive Minded, including our seasonal Outdoor Healing & Mindfulness Group that runs from late spring through fall. I believe deeply in the healing power of movement, nature, and community connection—and I bring that passion into my work with every client.
Community, advocacy, and values
Outside the therapy room, I am actively engaged in community work. I serve as part of the team with Curly Me!, a Utah-based nonprofit uplifting Black and Brown youth, and I support The OUT Foundation, which focuses on LGBTQ+ community wellness and empowerment. My work is rooted in visibility, collective healing, and creating affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and immigrant-community individuals.

Why people choose to work with me
Many of the people I support are navigating trauma, identity exploration, belonging, anxiety, depression, or major life transitions. As a BIPOC and LGBTQ+ person in Utah, you may be carrying unique layers of stress or invisibility—it can feel like you’re holding far too much alone. In our work together, you won’t have to. I offer a space where your whole self is welcome. Where your story, culture, and lived experience are understood and honored. Where healing can feel both safe and empowering.

My approach is collaborative and deeply relational. I see therapy as a place where you get to slow down, breathe, reconnect with your body, and discover clearer pathways to emotional regulation, resilience, and self-trust.

My therapeutic approach
I use an integrative, trauma-informed blend of:
-
AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy)
-
EMDR-informed techniques
-
Mindfulness practices
-
IFS (Internal Family Systems)
-
Somatic approaches and body-based healing
-
CBT & DBT skills
-
Polyvagal-informed regulation
-
Attachment-focused approaches

Together, we’ll listen to both your nervous system and your narrative. We’ll explore old patterns with curiosity, not judgment, and build new ways of being that feel aligned, grounded, and nourishing.

Groups, movement & the outdoors
Movement and nature have always been essential in my own healing, and I bring that into my practice. At Inclusive Minded, I facilitate group programs that incorporate grounding exercises, mindfulness, and somatic awareness—including our outdoor group that takes place from May/June through October/November. These groups invite you to reconnect with your body, build community, and experience healing in the open air.

If you’re ready
If you’re seeking a therapist who blends gentleness with depth, structure with creativity, and grounding with joy, I would be honored to support your journey. I welcome adults 18+ for individual therapy (in English) and coordinate / facilitate multiple group healing spaces.

When you’re ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment—your next chapter of healing and connection can begin here.
